The Organisation Our client is a top-tier law firm based in Melbourne’s CBD who inspires and leads their employees to perform at the highest level. Due to the growth of the organisation they are seeking the skills of an experienced Trust Accounts Officer to fit into their Melbourne trust accounts team in a newly created role and provide support with general finance processes. Position Description Reporting into the Trust and Accounts Manager, your daily tasks will include Working as part of a team of 7 trust accounts officers Trust account reconciliations Processing trust account transactions Assisting with the trust audit process Maintaining trust and controlled money accounts Assist with the management of the accounts inbox - answering queries Processing of system entries Setting up and closing of accounts Other tasks as required from the Finance Manager Candidate Profile The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar trust accounting role within a legal or professional services environment, as well as the following attributes: Strong communication with particular focus on client relationships Intermediate excel skills Excellent time management skills High attention to detail The ability to meet deadlines and provide a high standard of support Experience with Aderent or LEAP software systems highly advantageous What's on Offer Competitive salary Excellent career building opportunities within a well-established and recognized law firm Permanent full time ongoing role CBD location | Impressive office Work under fantastic leadership To discuss further, please contact Jacob Collins at jcollins@sharpandcarter.com.au
