Description Transport Administrator – Kapooka We currently have an opportunity for a Transport Administrator to join our EMOS team at Kapooka . Play a key role in supporting Defence operations by coordinating transport bookings and ensuring smooth day-to-day vehicle management across the site. Reporting to the Transport Supervisor , you’ll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential Defence services. What You’ll Do In this role, you’ll: Manage transport bookings and vehicle scheduling to meet Defence requirements Maintain the vehicle servicing database and ensure all fleet activities are accurately recorded Support the Transport Supervisor in managing drivers and day-to-day operations Ensure compliance with Defence Road Transport Instructions and Downer/Spotless policies Provide excellent customer service to Defence personnel and other stakeholders Maintain accurate records, timesheets, and documentation Promote and maintain a safe workplace, reporting incidents and hazards promptly Participate in training, meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives Uphold Defence and company security, grooming, and environmental standards What You’ll Bring Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance (Australian citizenship required) Current driver’s licence (mandatory) Strong understanding of Defence transport requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and within a small team Knowledge of Defence traditions and protocols (advantageous) Understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements Flexibility to work varied hours as required More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
