Are you looking to ignite innovation as our new Test Lead ? This could be the opportunity for you. The Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) is currently seeking applications for a Test Lead, to join the Information Technology team, internally known as the Enterprise Technology Group (ETG). This ongoing full-time hybrid role can be based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney or Perth. Reporting to Assistant Director Product Management, the Test Lead is a newly created role intended to provide structure, guidance and coordination of testing activities for CMS' and related business applications. The Test Lead role provides leadership on product management opportunities, risks and provides advice and status to product owners, product managers and stakeholders. The role will deliver well-reasoned, structured, actions and insights into performance and achieving quality service delivery and user products. Working closely with other ETG colleagues and representatives from business areas, you will also learn new skills and have the opportunity to contribute to key organisational and strategic initiatives. About the team The CMS Products section, and ETG more broadly, are geographically dispersed and enjoy flexible working arrangements, including the opportunity to regularly work from home. This position forms part of a small, cross functional team supporting our CMS' and related business applications. The key duties of the position include Leadership: Provide direction, advice, and support to cross functional teams responsible for ICT products and services. Set testing strategies and ensure alignment with program or organisational objectives. Lead by example, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Service stability: Manage service stability by providing timely and relevant technical advice. Identify risks or issues in the testing lifecycle and propose mitigation strategies. Work collaboratively with the product, service and business teams to deliver agreed programs of work and assist in providing training to colleagues to support and maintain systems. Advice and policy: Provide advice and guidance on the implementation of technology and the identification of risks within solutions. Maintain and interpret policies, standards and processes that effect the provision of technology products and services, ensuring they are fit for purpose. Provide advice on technology cost, opportunity, risk, issues, and implications. Problem solving and initiative: Take ownership of testing outcomes and proactively resolve issues. Adapt plans as needed in response to issues identified or changes in project requirements or timelines. Operational management: Lead the planning, coordination and executions of testing activities (system integration, UAT, regression, etc.). Contribute to the operational continuity of the ART's environments and toolchain to ensure systems and services are performing effectively. Provide advice on services, ensuring they meet current and planned business needs. Stakeholder engagement: Engage with business owners, product owners and stakeholders, providing clear communication on test progress, defects, and release readiness. Represent the testing function in project meetings or cross-functional team discussions. Translate technical issues into business-friendly language. To be successful in this role you will have: Extensive experience in designing, documenting and executing test plans. Excellent customer service and communication skills to be able to communicate complex information clearly and succinctly Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively, develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Experience using Jira, Confluence and ServiceNowExperience testing bespoke case management systems
