Meet some of our people and learn more about the Commission and our Regulatory Strategy on our website www.agedcarequality.gov.au About the Team The purpose of the Technology Sourcing Team, within the Digital Enablement Services Section of the Digital Group, is to manage and optimise the procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of digital assets and resources essential for the Commission's operations, by maintaining accurate inventories, tracking usage, and optimising asset utilisation. About the Role This role will play a key role in the development of the technology landscape within the commission. Focussed on hardware devices like computers and infrastructure, this role will take ownership to sourcing and delivering technology to the digital group. Ensuring that the commission remains compliant in its digital requirements and enables its workforce to get the best out of their technology, this role will ensure that procurements are well informed and have a solid value for money proposition. Leading the digital groups technology landscape into the future through a continuous improvement methodology, analytical assessment and reporting functions. This sourcing approach will ensure a robust and secure process of onboarding many types of technology hardware that is compatible with the current architecture. The role will be primarily onsite with the ability to work from home. The key duties of the position include End to End lifecycle management of the hardware technology landscape at the commission. Sourcing devices from a variety of channels and completing assessments, testing, and reporting. Logistical and stock management reporting and scheduling. Maintaining an accurate repository of devices and related artifacts including but not limited to, user manuals, governance, licensing and process documents. Maintain currency of knowledge on current and emerging technologies by monitoring the industry for impacts to the current and future suite. Participate and play a key role in procurement exercises and decommissioning activities related to digital hardware. Act as an escalation point between the end user service support team and the vendor to resolve technical and sourcing issues. Contribute to a continuous improvement system of process development for hardware lifecycle management.
