DESCRIPTION Meal Allowances Accommodation - travel We are looking for a talented Mechanical Technician with either a light vehicle or heavy commercial qualification to join our high performing workshop team. Cummins specialises in Heavy Vehicle service, repairs and maintenance across mining, on-highway trucks, industrial and power generation In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Deliver a first-class service to our customers Complete service, repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products in our workshop Support engine rebuilds Diagnose and repair various engines predominately across on-highway, industrial and power generation Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues / incidents to the Workshop Manager Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens Be part of a community of like-minded individuals, who value your input & are open to all viewpoints & communication RESPONSIBILITIES To be successful in this role you will need the following: Mechanical trades qualified as a Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards) Previous repairs and maintenance experience with Diesel Engines, Power Generation, On Highway Truck, Construction or Agriculture desirable but not essential. Diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities Be a team player & be prepared to adhere to Cummins Policies Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any issues / incidents to shift supervisors Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly shift allowance rate paid as a permanent salary, Overtime penalties for all work above standard Monday to Friday 38-hour work week.
