Description In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Apply documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools. Disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble engines and/or engine components. Perform preventative maintenance based on assessment of engines. Assist more experienced technicians with diagnostics and development of repair plans in the workshop. Complete required documentation, such as work completed documents, time sheets, warranty claims, and quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens. Complete training in line with skill and business requirements. Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation. Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation and report any issues/incidents to the supervisor. Responsibilities To be successful in this role you will need the following: Communication & Customer Focus: Delivers clear, audience-tailored communication and builds strong customer relationships through responsive, solution-oriented service. Adaptability & Growth: Adjusts approach in dynamic situations and actively pursues personal and professional development opportunities. Health & Safety Leadership: Promotes a proactive safety culture by identifying risks, reporting concerns, and participating in improvement initiatives. Technical Diagnostics & Repair: Applies advanced tools and workflows to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems efficiently. Documentation & Escalation: Accurately records service activities and escalates technical issues using structured systems to ensure timely and effective resolution. Education, Licenses, Certifications: Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Locally valid driving permit (Preferred) This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products Qualifications Strong Safety focused and willing to adhere to Cummins policies and procedures Willing to meet service KPI's Self-motivated and willing to work independently. Has innovated mindset. Creates right work environment through following Cummins Values. Willing to learn Cummins products, attend online and class base training Customer focused and willing to work minimum overtime when required Attention to detail
