Job Description Tech Lead – Informatica & Cloud Data Engineering About the client: Our client is a leading consultancy delivering advanced data integration and governance solutions for enterprise clients. This role is pivotal in leading ETL design, migration, and data governance initiatives across cloud and on-premises environments. About the role: We are seeking a Tech Lead with deep expertise in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and strong ETL design experience. You’ll drive migration projects, data lineage, and integration across diverse platforms, ensuring robust, scalable data solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Lead ETL design and development using Informatica & IDMC for both on-prem and cloud systems (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Salesforce). • Oversee PowerCenter to IDMC migration projects. • Implement and manage data governance and data lineage using CDGC, MCC, and REST APIs. • Utilise expertise in Linux environments and scripting for automation and optimisation. • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions. • Work with various databases (Oracle, Azure DB, Teradata) and support metadata-driven frameworks. Required Experience: • 10 years in data engineering, with at least 3–5 years’ hands-on IDMC experience (CDI, MI's, CAI, Data Lineage). • Strong background in Informatica PowerCenter and migration to IDMC. • Proven ETL design expertise (5 years) across multiple end systems. • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Salesforce). • Proficiency in Linux and scripting. • Data governance and metadata management knowledge. Desirable Skills: • Experience with metadata-driven frameworks. • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. What’s on offer? This is a contract role based in Australia.
