We’re seeking a passionate and capable individual ready to step into a Team Leader role within our Rice Cakes production team. As Team Leader, you will lead and develop the production team to meet operational goals, while consistently upholding SunRice’s standards in safety, quality, and performance. You’ll set the tone for your team by modelling our values and behaviours every day. Key Responsibilities Champion safety, quality, and efficiency across the shift Support and guide your team through daily operations Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and stakeholders Manage shift handovers and maintain accurate records Monitor safe systems of work in line with SunRice Safety Management Plans Ensure compliance with food safety standards including GMP, HACCP, and hygiene protocols Oversee product quality and output Lead and coach team performance, ensuring tasks are completed each shift Execute the Production Plan and escalate issues as needed Drive continuous improvement using structured reporting and problem-solving tools Support maintenance plans and manage waste levels Facilitate training using structured plans and assessments About You Passionate about leadership and team development Hands-on, proactive, and committed to operational excellence Strong understanding of production processes and systems Previous experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with injury management and return-to-work processes How To Apply Click Apply Now and submit a short written application including: Your current role A brief statement on why you're ready to lead and what you'll bring to the team Submit your expression of interest today – we look forward to hearing from you.
