The Opportunity: Port of Newcastle is seeking a Systems Accountant to play a key role in managing and enhancing our financial systems. Reporting to the Finance Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of PON’s ERP, TechnologyOne, environment and drive continuous system improvement initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to lead strategic finance systems projects, contribute to process transformation and partner with both Finance and Information teams to ensure our systems meet the future-focused organisation needs. You’ll support the integrity, accuracy and efficiency of our financial systems, lead system upgrades and enhancements. What you will bring: To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate experience administering and maintain ERP financial systems, ideally TechnologyOne. You have a proven ability to identify and implement system improvements that enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency and productivity, as well as experience managing system upgrades, integrations and testing across financial platforms.
