What’s on offer? An opportunity has recently arisen for a Supervisor to join the Sydney Spray Sealing Team based in McGraths Hill. You will be an integral member of our Infrastructure Services Team and will be responsible for supervising contracting operations for our Sealing business. This is a permanent opportunity to step into a leadership role and define your career. You will work with innovative industry professionals who will invest in you and your development at Fulton Hogan. Responsibilities will include: Supervise and coordinate all spray sealing activities on site to ensure productivities are met and quality standards are maintained Lead and manage crew members, allocate tasks, and ensure the crew maintains a high safety standard Ensure work is completed in line with required specifications Manage materials, machinery, and equipment requirements to complete the required work Maintain accurate records of daily work activities, incidents, material usage, and progress Communicate regularly with clients about site progress and address any concerns or queries Identify and resolve issues that arise during operations, such as equipment breakdowns or adverse weather impacts Provide on-the-job training and guidance to crew members to improve performance and uphold safety/quality standards Ensure all activities comply with relevant environmental regulations and best practices to minimise site impact What we are looking for: Hands on experience in bituminous spray sealing and surfacing work with the ability to effectively manage a crew Understanding of spray seal techniques, Plant and Equipment, material specifications, and relevant standards Ability to assist in the planning and scheduling of work, keep accurate records of site activities and resource usage Completed a recognised Leadership training course; (preferred but not mandatory) We are looking for candidates that have completed AAPA Safely Working with Bituminous materials and Sprayed Sealing Selection and Design training course. Ideally you will have extensive experience in spray seal in a leadership role such as Foreman or Supervisor. However, within Fulton Hogan we look for more than good technical competency and experience.
