Description Overview of role: The Solution Architect role will be a part of the Transformation Strategy Team and work closely with both our Architecture and Technology teams. This is a crucial role that will help shape the future of our organization by bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions Key Responsibilities: As our Solution Architect, you’ll be accountable for: Collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, and project managers to translate business requirements into comprehensive solution designs and technical specifications. Developing high-level and detailed solution architectures that align with our enterprise architecture standards and business strategies. Providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept to implementation and post-go-live support. Evaluation and recommendation new technologies and solutions that can improve our operational efficiency, customer experience, and business outcomes. About you: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar technical architecture role. Experience within the water utility industry or other regulated industries is highly desirable. A strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and design patterns. Experience in designing solutions across various domains, including operational technology (OT), IT, customer systems, and data platforms. Demonstrated experience with modern enterprise platforms is highly valued, particularly with: Salesforce (CRM) Oracle ERP Cloud or Infor Public Service Microsoft Data Platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI) Agentic AI or other advanced AI/ML technologies Sound like you?
