About The Role We’re looking for a Solution Architect with a hands-on approach to join our development team and help design and implement innovative solutions in the healthcare space. While your primary focus will be on architecting solutions in AWS , you’ll also roll up your sleeves and assist the team with building and delivering these solutions. Our core technology stack includes AWS, Java, Python, and PostgreSQL , with opportunities to work across other platforms and solutions within the business. You’ll join an established team where your expertise will influence technical direction and ensure robust, scalable, and secure architectures. You’ll bring a positive, collaborative, and forward-thinking mindset , with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions and supporting both internal and external stakeholders. Key Accountabilities: Design and document AWS-based solution architectures aligned with business requirements and best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical designs. Assist in hands-on development, testing, and deployment of software solutions. Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and guide best practices in cloud architecture and development. Identify opportunities for automation, scalability, and performance improvements across the solution landscape. Key selection criteria: Proven experience as a Solution Architect with strong AWS expertise (including services such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM). Solid development experience with Java and/or Python and related frameworks. Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React) is advantageous. Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration. Competent with PostgreSQL and relational database design. Experience with modern architectures: microservices, serverless, containerization. Ability to balance high-level design with hands-on implementation. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. AWS Certification or related IT architecture certification desirable. Knowledge of healthcare IT standards (HL7, DICOM) is beneficial. Exposure to AI/ML solution implementation is a plus. What can I-MED offer you?
