The Honeywell Software Centre develops state of the art networked building automation and digital video surveillance solutions that run on Microsoft platforms. Recognised as a leader in the development of innovative and quality software we use the latest development methodologies and tools and maintain a strong ongoing commitment to Quality Systems. You will be part of a team of software engineers responsible for the development of our enterprise Video Management System known as Digital Video Manager (DVM). This product is exported worldwide through Honeywell’s global businesses. Responsibilities Perform software engineering tasks to develop product enhancements to Honeywell's market leading solutions for buildings Provide responsive customer support for software solutions developed Collaborate with team members to find best practice solutions for software and processes Meeting high quality functional and non-functional customer needs or requirements Qualifications Expertise in delivering high quality customer facing solutions for the Microsoft Windows platform using modern C/C++ Proficiency in SOLID principles, test driven development Experience creating performant, scalable and maintainable software designs Experience with Agile delivery methodologies Experience working with Microsoft.NET is highly valued Experience with live video streaming applications and / or video processing frameworks and libraries like FFmpeg, Media Foundation is highly valued.
