The company An establish but growing player in a niche of the finance sector. They provide the finance that underpins a number of major brands in the market. The role The company is doing a major uplift around Azure. Adopting more functions, uplifting their security, utilising more IaC, putting more guardrails in place, working closely with the DevOps & Dev teams, essentially helping their Azure environment mature. They are looking for an seasoned Azure engineer who can help them on that journey. So what are we looking for? Some of the key azure functions they will are using include Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Key Vault, Azure Firewall, Azure Defender, Azure Intune, Azure Security Centre, Azure Sentinel, O365 & Azure DevOps. Other things that are big on their radar: they run Terraform & Bicep at the moment (and are consolidating back to Bicep). High availability, landing zone migrations, RBAC & Essential8. Being in finance, it would also be great if this person brought experience from that sector There's no one of those that's essential, but the more you of that have the better your chances are. It's also important that you're a team player with strong communication skills. You'll be one of a team of 3 Azure Engineers, working closely with the Head of IT operations, the DevOps Teams & the developers.
