About the role The Senior Technology Implementation Specialist role provides project management and implementation expertise to successfully deliver highly complex technology-based changes required to support Essential Energy business units in achieving identified outcomes and benefits. This role will manage a team of dedicated and shared delivery and change resources to deliver a pipeline of technology initiatives and ensure effective management of financials, status reporting and adherence to governance and compliance requirements. This role is permanent contract and can be based anywhere within Essential Energy's operational footprint, with the ability to work from home. About You You are a highly skilled professional with a proven track record in leading people and diverse specialist technical teams within Information Technology environments. Your background includes successfully managing complex technical change initiatives, projects, and programmes in large-scale enterprises—ideally within IT and Data. Experience with data-driven projects and a strong grounding in Agile methodologies will be highly regarded. In addition to this you will have skills in: Proven leadership and management skills in a technology change environment Ability to accept responsibilities and accountabilities and be focused on delivering technology change enablers for Benefits realisation Strong understanding and experience in project management processes, governance and related methodologies Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities High level interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes in an organisation with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities in a changing environment Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare executive and board level submissions Required Qualifications Bachelor Degree of Information Technology or demonstrated capability through past employment experiences and/or relevant qualifications.
