The key duties of the position include Employment Opportunity We're seeking an experienced ServiceNow developer to lead design, development, and maintenance of ServiceNow applications and platform components that support business processes. This role works closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, deliver solutions, and a secure ServiceNow platform aligned with organisational objectives. The Senior ServiceNow Developer will: Lead development, and configuration across ServiceNow modules, workflows, and integrations, including App Engine. Configure core ServiceNow modules such as Customer Service Management (CSM), IT Service Management (ITSM), and Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) to meet organisational needs. Develop and customise workflows, business rules, scripts, and UI. Integrate ServiceNow with other systems using APIs and web services, including integrations not available via Integration Hub Conduct code reviews and drive continuous improvement in development best practices. Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and end users to gather and clarify requirements. Collaborate on solution design and lead clear explanations of solution options and implications. Provide technical support, troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Accurately document configurations, customisations, and processes. Ensure compliance with policies, security standards, and best practices. Support upgrades and testing. Share expertise within the Developer Centre of Excellence. Manage workload, priorities, and delivery timelines. Provide training and mentorship to team members. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and skills. Hands-on development and configuration expertise in ServiceNow. Strong knowledge of modules, scripting (including JavaScript), and workflow automation. Delivery of sustainable, long-term solutions and a strong understanding of industry best practices. Experience in code reviews, and configuring a range of ServiceNow modules Collaborative work and clear, accessible communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Commitment to continuous learning and staying informed on current ServiceNow capabilities and best practices. Knowledge sharing and promotion to build collective capability. Strong leadership and a commitment to guide and mentor others Relevant ServiceNow certifications Experience in government or large enterprise environments.
