Description Our team is expanding, with two Senior Product Roles currently open. Seeking 1x Senior Product Manager (Permanent) and 1x Senior Product Manager (6-month contract) What’s the role? This role sits within the Business Lending team. As a Senior Product Manager you need to display a strong level of commercial and technical acumen. This role will be responsible for the designing and positioning of Business Lending products and features that deliver value to the customer, are compliant-by-design and generate financial return for the business. Previous experience in Product roles for Business/Commercial Product teams will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities: Working closely with other functions across the Business Lending value chain (including Technology, Finance, Marketing, Pricing, Legal, Compliance, Risk) to drive initiatives that align to the product, growth and financial strategy. Lead the Go To Market strategy for the product - work closely with Distribution drive growth and simplify the sales process. Contributing to, and evolving, the Product roadmap. As part of this, you will be responsible for deeply understanding customer pain points and opportunities. Championing the Product in the annual funding cycle to pitch and secure funding for product development (new products or enhancements). This will require supporting the business case development. Collaborate with the Finance & Pricing teams to optimise portfolio profitability, diversification, mix and growth, cost, arrears, capital, risk management and process effectiveness. Review and analyse category, competitor and portfolio performance and trends. Proactively minimise portfolio risk by keeping abreast of regulatory requirements and identify pathways to resolve issues as they emerge. What do I need? Tenacious, proactive and creative problem-solver. Ability to balance customer experience with desired business outcomes Knowledge of business segments, including customer needs, pain points, opportunities, trends and the competitive landscape. Confidence in providing concise and effective recommendations to improve product performance. Including developing business cases and executive presentations (presenting and creating packs). Depth of understanding of business lending products and E2E processes. Analytical and data driven Understanding of legislative and regulatory obligations relevant to business lending. Why join us?
