Your new role: As the Associate Clinical Nurse Consultant (ACNC)/Associate Clinical Midwife Consultant (ACMC) - Senior Policy Document Coordinator, you will provide advanced clinical expertise, leadership and consultancy across Metro South Health's Clinical Governance, Risk and Legal Division. Working closely with the Nurse Manager/Advance Clinical Lead, you will lead the governance, development, implementation and ongoing improvement of MSH policy documents to ensure safe, high-quality and evidence-based care. You will champion best practice in clinical governance, guide staff in contemporary policy development, support organisational reporting, and drive education and system improvements that underpin safe and effective care delivery. Key Responsibilities * Lead the governance, review and management of MSH policy documents. * Coordinate monitoring, evaluation and reporting of clinical policies and procedures. * Support and implement the MSH Policy Framework, including policy rationalisation. * Provide expert guidance to staff on best practice policy development. * Develop education and resources to build organisational capability in policy management. * Identify discrepancies between policy and practice and drive solutions. About you: You are an experienced nursing or midwifery professional with advanced clinical governance expertise and a passion for improving safety, quality and policy systems. You demonstrate strong leadership, exceptional communication and a collaborative approach to driving organisational improvement. Skills & Experience * Advanced clinical knowledge in Clinical Governance and policy management. * Strong research, analytical and problem-solving capabilities. * Ability to synthesise complex information and prepare high-level reports and briefs. * Experience leading change, supporting teams and promoting positive practice culture. * Skilled in education, coaching and supporting staff capability development. * Knowledge of document management systems and relevant legislative requirements.
