Role details The AODS and Specialist Teams at the Mackay Community Health Centre is seeking applications for a Senior Perinatal Mental Health Clinician (Senior Health Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Consultant) to join their team on a temporary basis. Your opportunity The Senior Perinatal Mental Health Clinician (Senior Health Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Consultant) is expected to demonstrate an advanced level of autonomous clinical and professional practice and decision making in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. This specialist role will work across the Mackay Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs division, leveraging both internal and external partnerships to work collaboratively in providing a pathway of care for women who require specialised perinatal mental health care. The Senior Perinatal Mental Health Clinician will report organisationally to the Team Leader of the Specialist Team. About the Team The Alcohol and Other Drugs and Specialists Team works individually and in group settings to provide ongoing mental health interventions. The team consists of: Early Psychosis Team, Older Persons Mental Health, Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team and Alcohol and Other Drugs Services. About our Hospital and Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
