About the role * To provide independent high level Nuclear Medicine services of a varied and complex nature where routine protocols may require modification, with only occasional supervision. * To provide clinical leadership within the team including clinical practice supervision About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: * Deliver high level Nuclear Medicine Scientist clinical services across multiple-modality specialties in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards within established clinical and radiation hygiene protocols. * Exercises independent professional judgement in decision making in a clinical environment where the caseload is varied and increasingly complex beyond routine nuclear medicine practice. * Contribute to the development of procedure, protocols and other clinical work practices. Initiating, implementing and evaluating quality improvement activities that support the provision of the Nuclear Medicine Scientist service. * Demonstrates high-level Nuclear Medicine knowledge and skills across multiple-modalities, including general Nuclear Medicine procedures, SPECT/CT imaging, PET/CT imaging, Diagnostic CT imaging, Bone Mineral Densitometry, Radiopharmacy with GMP standards and Paediatric Nuclear Medicine.
