Job Description Your New Role As Senior Manager, IT Operations, you will oversee our Application Support, Service Desk, and Data Engineering teams to ensure seamless tech performance and exceptional user support. This role blends technical know-how with strategic leadership to keep systems running smoothly, elevate user experience, and drive continuous improvement across Development Victoria’s digital landscape. Core Accountabilities: Collaborate with Finance & Operations and IT leadership team peers to deliver Group priorities and execute the IT strategy. Lead and grow the capability of the IT support teams and utilise data insights to improve process efficiency. Manage key vendor relationships to ensure IT operational system functionality is optimised. Provide oversight and guidance to the IT Service Desk, ensuring timely resolutions of user incidents and efficient handling of 2nd and 3rd line support. Provide oversight and guidance to the team on the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, integrations, and platforms, ensuring reliable data availability. Provide input into budgeting, forecasting and prioritisation of IT investments at the enterprise level. Desired Skills and Experience About You Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in ICT, Business Systems or a related Business discipline preferred. Demonstrated experience leading IT infrastructure, security, systems and technologies across complex environments, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership position. Strong knowledge of IT project delivery frameworks and enterprise architecture. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
