About the National Anti-Corruption Commission The NACC enhances integrity in the Commonwealth public sector by deterring, detecting, and preventing corrupt conduct involving Commonwealth public officials. It does this through education, monitoring, investigation, reporting and referral. Working with us This is an exciting time to join the NACC. As we enter our second year of operation, we are looking for outstanding individuals to embed robust systems and processes, deliver exciting and diverse projects and demonstrate innovation and commitment to integrity in the public service. NACC staff work in a complex and dynamic setting where exceptional judgement and an ability to achieve results is critical. Successful candidates will have the ability to cooperate in a team environment, as well as work independently, adhere to established processes, contribute to process improvement, and perform successfully across corporate and operational functions. The key duties of the position include The Evaluation Branch of the NACC has two opportunities for immediate filing in the Intake and Triage team. A merit list will be established to fill vacancies arising in the next 18 months. Duties of the roles align with the APS Work Level Standards and are relevant to the Integrated Leadership System . The key activities for each role are set out below. The NACC is a small agency. In addition to the duties listed for each role, you may occasionally be asked to undertake tasks that are outside your usual span of responsibilities. Supporting one another in this way provides opportunities for exposure across the agency and is an integral part of the NACC's positive workplace culture. Senior Intake and Triage Officer As an APS6 Senior Intake and Triage Officer, the successful applicants will: • be responsible for workload and workflow management for a team of Intake and Triage Officers. • provide feedback to the Intake and Triage Officers to ensure consistent delivery of services to the public. • undertake risk and evidence-based decision making in relation to complex referrals including preparing recommendations. • assist in managing change and continuous improvement. • undertake quality assurance in accordance with an established framework to monitor and report on quality to the Director and Assistant Director. • Other duties as required. The successful applicants will also demonstrate: • Experience in workload and workflow management of others, including allocation, risk management • The ability to support the development of the others with training, feedback and building team capability. • Experience working in environments that experience a high volume of workload, while working in line with established priorities, practices, and methodologies to deliver quality outcomes. • An ability to contribute to the day-to-day operational effectiveness of a team function and work with colleagues to ensure processes and standard operating procedures remain current and relevant. • An understanding of the Act and an appreciation of the anti-corruption concepts relevant to the Act (or the ability to attain such knowledge quickly).
