EMPLOYMENT

This role is accountable for financial accounting, management, and analytical reporting. Core functions include month end financial accounting process, management reporting, budgeting and expense control, variance analysis for revenue, margin, expense and balance sheet items, monthly account reconciliations, indirect tax payments and, as well as special projects within the broader finance team. Client Details Our client is an ASX listed retailer. Description Month-End & Financial Reporting - Complete month-end processes, review cost centre/regional performance, and prepare financial reports Balance Sheet Reconciliations - Perform monthly reconciliations and resolve identified issues. Internal Controls - Ensure controls are embedded Year-End & Audit - Lead year-end schedules and assist auditors with the annual audit process. Tax Compliance - Review indirect tax returns (FBT, GST) and ensure accuracy. Budgeting & Forecasting - Support annual budget process, coordinate store targets/KPIs, and review proposals with management. Decision Support & Analysis - Conduct post-implementation reviews, analyze KPIs, identify profitability opportunities, and provide ad-hoc reporting. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement - Work with managers and other teams to share insights and improve processes. Profile Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance or similar CA/CPA qualification Strong ability to communicate and partner across different business units Strong technical foundation, Big 4/Mid tier experience a plus Ability to pick up concepts fast and thrive working with ambiguous data Experience with Blackline highly advantageous Job Offer Opportunity to convert to permanent Exposure to an ASX listed environment Hybrid working arrangements, 3/2 split High performing team and excellent manager To apply online please click the 'Apply' button below.
