The opportunity We’re looking for a Senior Experience Designer (12-month max-term contract) to join our Digital & CX team in Melbourne. You’ll be embedded within the Acquisition fusion team, designing intuitive and accessible user experiences for our digital products and services—including web and mobile applications. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across UniSuper to ideate, prototype, and deliver high-fidelity digital solutions that enhance member engagement and simplify operational processes. Key responsibilities include: Leading and delivering end-to-end design activities for agile, cross-functional project teams. Facilitating co-design workshops and collaborating with business stakeholders, product managers, engineers, and creative specialists. Partnering with our CX Research & Insights team to test and validate experiences with members, employers, and internal staff. Creating design artefacts (blueprints, journey maps, user flows, wireframes, prototypes) using Figma and other collaboration tools. Advocating for user-centred design and contributing to the ongoing improvement of UniSuper’s design practice. About you 5 years’ experience in experience design roles, with a strong background in service and user experience design for digital products. Proficient in Figma (design and prototyping) and collaborative tools like Miro. Skilled in leading workshops and engaging diverse business and technology stakeholders. Experience in acquisition/CRO-focused UX design, including onboarding and conversion flows for web and mobile. Familiarity with iOS/Android app development and platforms like Angular, Next.js/Tailwind, and Sitecore CMS is a plus. Adaptable, empathetic, and passionate about collaborating in cross-functional teams. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and experience in large-scale enterprises, superannuation, or financial services are well-regarded.
