The Senior Executive Assistant provides high-quality senior executive support to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commissioner (NDIS Commissioner) and is responsible for supporting and managing a range of strategic and confidential issues, often in short timeframes while handling competing demands. The Senior Executive Assistant is responsible for proactively managing the NDIS Commissioner's diary, liaising with key senior internal and external stakeholders, and implementing best practice workflow management to ensure efficient and timely support to their executive. The role also provides leadership and mentorship to the executive assistant network, and consistency of practice across the organisation. The role also assists with projects and other activities that are led by the Office of the Commissioner, as required. The Senior Executive Assistant should be available to work in the Melbourne office approximately 3 days per week with additional days as required. The key duties of the position include Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: provide high level strategic executive support to the NDIS Commissioner by ensuring the effective management of work demands and workflow, this includes management of correspondence, enquiries, diary and meeting coordination, travel, as well as facilitating and maintaining accounts and budgets preparation of written correspondence, and coordination of briefs and papers for the NDIS Commissioner, in line with quality and organisational requirements. provide leadership to executive assistant network through support and mentoring to ensure consistency of practice across executive offices confidentially handle sensitive material and information, maintain confidentiality and discretion, and model ethical behaviour and practices consistent with the APS Code of Conduct and APS Values develop and maintain professional and positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including with support staff of senior stakeholders across the broader social services sector and other systems the NDIS Commission works within maintaining records and databases to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible.
