Job Description About the Team KPMG’s Business Resilience team, part of our Technology Risk and Cyber practice within the Consulting division, helps organisations prepare for and respond to disruption risks with confidence. We work with clients to strengthen operational resilience, business continuity, and crisis management capabilities, ensuring they can maintain critical services and recover quickly in the face of unexpected events. Our team combines deep expertise in risk management and regulatory compliance with innovative approaches to resilience, empowering businesses to thrive in an increasingly complex and digital world. Role Purpose As a Senior Consultant in our Business Resilience team, you will play a key role in delivering resilience and risk management services to clients. You will work closely with KPMG and client stakeholders to assess, design, and implement strategies that enhance organisational resilience and compliance with regulatory standards. We are currently hiring for this role in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney only . Role Responsibilities Act as a central point for day-to-day coordination of engagements, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Conduct fieldwork and analysis across client projects, including: Business Impact Analysis (BIA) Maturity assessments Developing Business Resilience frameworks and artefacts Designing and delivering resilience training and exercises Assist clients in managing disruption risks to meet business objectives, stakeholder expectations, and compliance obligations. Perform gap assessments covering Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Emergency Management, and Crisis Management against global and domestic standards (e.g., ISO 22301, ISO 27031, APRA CPS 230). Develop benchmarking reports and provide insights to strengthen resilience capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions across technology, risk, and cyber security. Support business development activities, including proposals and client presentations. Experience Minimum 2 years in business resilience, risk management, or related consulting roles. Experience in operational risk, business continuity, crisis management, and/or cyber resilience. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards such as ISO 22301, APRA CPS 230, and AS3745-2010. Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within timelines. Industry or professional services experience preferred.
