About the Role: We’re seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer with strong API automation skills to join a high-performing QA team on an enterprise technology program. You’ll design, build, and maintain reusable automation frameworks, ensuring reliability, scalability, and maintainability across API and integration layers. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives on technical ownership — shaping frameworks, improving efficiency, and integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain reusable API test automation frameworks (environment config, tagging, reporting). Write and maintain automated API tests using TypeScript, Java, or C# with frameworks such as Playwright API, REST Assured, or SuperTest. Validate and troubleshoot HTTP-layer behaviours – including schema validation, pagination, rate limiting, headers, retries/backoff, and token validation. Build and refactor reusable functions and components for test reusability and maintainability. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps). Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and QA peers to improve quality and automation maturity. Key Requirements Strong experience in API test automation with modern frameworks (Playwright API, REST Assured, or similar). Skilled in Java, TypeScript, or C# for building and maintaining automated test suites. Solid understanding of HTTP fundamentals and backend service interactions. Proven experience owning and improving test automation frameworks. Exposure to CI/CD pipeline integration in Agile delivery environments. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving mindset.
