The Technology Operations Branch (TOB) works closely with DVA business areas and Services Australia to design, build and supportsolutions on existing platforms. The branch manages the department's ICT systems and asset support, including asset management and incident management. TOBis focused on working with business areas to align IT and digital capabilities to achieve business core objectives.Byenhancingand supporting existingplatforms to improve the way we work, we can support staff to support the veteran community. The ICT Assurance team is seeking a Senior Assurance Officer to assist the team in strengthening DVA's ICT risk management and assurance culture. The Senior Assurance Officer will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to undertake administrative assurance practices. This will include the development and maintenance of artefacts to assist with conducting quality assurance reviews and monitoring of deliverables on strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will have experience in the preparation of a range of written material such as executive briefs and corporate documentation as well as the development and maintenance of data sets to support senior executive reporting dashboards and strategic financial oversight of ICT spending. The key duties of the position include Undertake administrative assurance practices and coordinate activities to support and promote DVA's vision, mission, and business objectives Work within a high preforming, fast paced team, undertaking activities that provide support across the department Be able to work independently under broad direction to progress taskings Gather and investigate information from diverse sources to develop and maintain artefacts, specifically assurance data sets, to assist with conducting quality assurance reviews of ICT spending Assist the Director ICT Assurance to manage, deliver and monitor deliverables on strategic initiatives Build and sustain positive relationships with business, operational areas and suppliers to ensure both stakeholder relationships and administrative requirements are managed effectively Prepare a range of written material including development of key messages and communications, senior executive reporting dashboards, executive briefs and corporate documentation to support ICT assurance processes Be able to manage your work and prioritise team workloads, adapting to changing priorities while managing expectations and meeting the needs of stakeholders Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with both technical and business focused stakeholders Demonstrate capability in line with the Integrated Leadership System at the APS6 level Demonstrate commitment to APS Values, Employment Principles and Code of Conduct.
