We are seeking a Senior Assurance Officer, with strong leadership skills and proven assurance capability. The successful candidate's work unit will be the NFR Planning and Assurance Section, and they work with a diverse range of stakeholders across ACIC, jurisdictions and a number of Commonwealth agencies. The key duties of the position include Support the Director, Planning and Assurance, to manage NFR Program assurance for senior multi-jurisdictional governance committees across more than ten Commonwealth, state and territory government agencies; Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior government officials across Commonwealth agencies and state and territory governments; Demonstrate exceptional and proven senior communication skills, particularly in an assurance context. Your skills and capabilities Proven ability to support the delivery of a complex regulatory reform, with multiple stakeholders in a public sector context, aligned to existing frameworks and best-practice program management; Resilience, commitment to delivery and quality, sound judgement and the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively; Strategic thinking with excellent analytical and planning skills; Strong and proven verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate and present complex concepts to a diverse audience.
