About the role The Senior Analyst, Corporate and Commercial Finance is co-responsible for a range of financial accounting and management accounting activities, including but not limited to reconciliations, acquittals, asset management, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. You will assist in continuously optimising workload efficiency and identifying opportunities for process improvement to enhance team performance. You will: execute strategic financial priorities; provide specialist and technical advice and commercial financial support to Vice Chancellor’s Senior Team; provide specialist support for a range of corporate accounting activities; and provide specialist support in the preparation of the annual financial statements and external audit. About you Reporting to the Head, Corporate Finance, you will have demonstrated experience in effectively managing workload demands through prioritising tasks and making agile, informed decisions to reduce downstream workloads and drive strategic outcomes. You will possess: extensive experience in partnering and influencing senior stakeholders to drive commercially sound informed decision making; extensive experience in the preparation, interpretation and analysis of financial reports and presenting data in a meaningful way; proven track record in managing financial improvement/sustainability projects and promoting a cost-conscious culture across all business units; and demonstrated ability to analyse, integrate, articulate, and contribute to procedural and organisational change, policy development and initiatives in a large organisation with complex workflows.
