They require a Secondary School Teacher in North Parramatta, NSW. The successful applicant will be an innovative mathematics teacher with experience and ability to teach Stages 4, 5 and 6 mathematics in line with NESA requirements. Key responsibilities include : Act as a mentor to students, supporting their wellbeing and academic goals; Actively engage in staff meetings, devotions and committees and communicate professionally with students and parents on wellbeing, co-curricular and academic matters; Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and achievement and attend school functions as required; Collaborate effectively as part of a dynamic and supportive team and communicate professionally with colleagues on matters concerning the positive direction of the school and students; Contribute to the development of curriculum and collaborative teaching programs and get to know the learning needs of students in their care and plan learning activities that cater for a wide range of student abilities; Integrate ICT and modern teaching strategies, including 1:1 laptop programs and maintain teaching/learning programs, unit outlines, student profiles and other curriculum documentation as required; Participate positively in the co-curricular program of the school to nurture the needs of the students and plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs. Support the School's co-curricular program, including camps, events, and student activities; Use technology to compliment the teaching and learning context and provide individual feedback, analyse data and write reports to enhance student learning. To be considered you will need a level of skill commensurate with a relevant bachelor degree or higher qualification and at least 2 years of post-qualification employment experience as a Secondary School Teacher. Preferred : NESA accreditation to teach in NSW. Experience teaching Stages 4, 5, and 6 Mathematics. Experience with the IB is advantageous but not essential.
