The opportunity As a Science Policy Officer, you will contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based science policy initiatives that support national priorities. This role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate complex scientific information into clear policy advice. Project Management: Has the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within deadlines The key duties of the position include The key responsibilities to be successful in the position are: Research, analyse, and interpret scientific and technical information to inform policy development. Prepare high-quality briefs, reports, and recommendations for senior decision-makers. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and build collaborative relationships. Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory frameworks relevant to science policy.
