What’s the gig? Our Aquatics team at WhiteWater World are searching for motivated, energetic and outgoing team players to join us on a seasonal casual basis. The role of a Slide Operator is to maintain the safe and efficient operation of the water park attractions and water slides whilst providing exceptional service to our guests. As Slide Operator, you are responsible for: • Operating all equipment according to training • Ensuring a safe environment for our guests • Identifying and appropriately addressing potential hazards • Carrying out all tasks in accordance with standard policies and procedures • Provision of exceptional Guest Service Please note: All Slide Operators must be at least 18 years of age, as per Australian Standard AS3533. This position requires a valid paid Queensland Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000. Under the 'No card, No Start' requirements, successful candidates must hold this clearance before commencing employment. What do we need from you? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure in an environment with high peak periods and varying workloads, while working as part of a cohesive team. Flexibility is crucial, as shifts will be scheduled on weekends and during peak school and public holiday periods. A positive attitude is a must!
