The Role This position exists to deliver customer-focused retail services that contribute to the daily operations of the store and warehouse, while supporting the mission and values of The Salvation Army. How You Will Make an Impact Provide exceptional customer service and offer assistance across all areas of the store, including the shop floor, fitting rooms, and register, as required. Support the implementation and coordination of marketing initiatives and promotional activities within the store. Assist with receiving, processing, and preparing donations, ensuring stock is appropriately priced and continuously available on the shop floor. Carry out opening and closing procedures in accordance with established guidelines. What You Will Bring Proven customer service experience in a retail environment, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Experience supervising staff or volunteers in a retail or similar setting (highly desirable). Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of people. A reasonable level of physical fitness to perform the duties associated with the role.
