We’re Hiring: Restaurant Leader – Full Time Are you an experienced hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced venue and loves creating exceptional guest experiences? Georges River Sailing Club is searching for a passionate and hands-on Restaurant Leader to oversee our busy restaurant floor and lead our front-of-house team. What You’ll Do: Oversee the day-to-day operation of a high-volume restaurant floor Lead service on the floor and at the pass, ensuring smooth communication between FOH and the kitchen Manage staff across each shift, including delegation, training, and real-time support Maintain an exceptional standard of service and respond quickly to guest feedback or service recovery situations Uphold venue standards and ensure consistency across all touchpoints Work closely with the management team to deliver operational excellence Support a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and peak trade periods What We’re Looking For: Proven leadership experience in a busy or high-volume hospitality environment Strong operational understanding of floor service, the pass, and service systems Confident in leading teams, resolving issues on the floor, and maintaining a calm, professional presence A natural people person with excellent communication skills Someone who thrives in a hands-on role and leads by example What We Offer: Full-time position on a rotating roster A supportive leadership team and a positive workplace culture Opportunities for development within a respected venue If you're ready to take the next step in your hospitality career, we’d love to hear from you!
