About the Role Reporting to the Asset and Facility Manager, this role will support and mentor our responsive maintenance team and work alongside the Housing services team to provide a high-quality service and well-maintained properties for CHL customers. In this role you will provide advice and support in the management of CHL’s asset base, ensuring a high level of consistency and service is achieved in the application of the organisation’s asset policies, plans, procedures and standards. Key responsibilities include: Effectively lead and manage the responsive maintenance team including performance and compliance requirements, appraisals, supervision and development Oversee and manage CHL’s Internal Maintenance Team operations Liaise, work with, and where necessary manage contractors to ensure KPIs are met Oversee responsive maintenance budget and coordinate financial and administrative tasks to CHL standards, such as reporting, complaints, compliance, quality and accountability requirements Ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting in accordance with contractual requirements, performance indicators, legislation and CHL reporting guidelines. Act as a point of escalation and decision making to mitigate risk and implements plans as necessary Oversee and participate in asset management projects and work assignments, including development of necessary procedures and tools About You You will have a good understanding and appreciation of the importance of responsive and efficient asset management for the community. In addition, to be successful for this role, you will have the below traits: What You Will Bring Minimum of 3yrs experience in a supervisory role/leading a team Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a caring and empathetic nature. Confidence in liaising with various stakeholders including vulnerable people. Previous experience working on MS Office programs including Excel. Ability to compose professional correspondence via email to internal and external stakeholders. Sound knowledge and application of WHS practices. Green/White WHS Construction Induction Card (or ability to obtain). A current driver’s licence. Relevant tertiary qualification (desirable) Please note that a satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC) Why Join Us?
