An opportunity to work with a progressive and dynamic team of Cardiologists. Excellent opportunities exist for dedicated Registered Nurses to join the close-knit, friendly, and hardworking Cath Lab team full-time at a private hospital in Newcastle. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include: Delivering safe, researched-based standards of nursing care; Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care; Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs; Leading successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes; Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs; Acting as a role model for Safe Practice. REQUIREMENTS Current Registration with AHPRA; At least 4 years of clinical experience in Cath Lab; Working with Children check; Bachelor of Nursing; Compliance with ACQSHC National standards; Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement; Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team; Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated, and customer-focused; Valid Australian work rights. REMUNERATION $ 35.46 - $49.79 per hour. ABOUT THE FACILITY The hospital, located in Newcastle, is a 189-bed, acute, private facility with 11 theatres, including a hybrid theatre and a 15-bed Intensive Care Unit. The Maternity Unit comprises a Birthing Suite, Maternity Ward and Special Care Nursery. Birthing Suite has 6 rooms on the ground floor, with Croudace Operating Theatres adjacent. The Maternity Ward encompasses 38 beds combined with antenatal and postnatal rooms.
