About the Team The Integrated Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) provides complex secondary and tertiary level health care. CYMHS offers specialised mental health services for families with infants, children and young people (birth to 18 years) who experience severe and complex mental health problems, and where their needs cannot be met by other services. CYMHS provides a comprehensive, recovery-orientated mental healthcare service that aims to improve the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people and their carer networks. About the Role In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. You'll fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award - State 2015 - Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 5 and the Queensland Health and Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQHHS) commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice. Your contribution will include: Domain 1: Direct comprehensive care or provision of direct care * Accountable for Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and own standards, actions and the outcomes of own nursing practice, professional advice given and for activities delegated to the Enrolled Nurse Advanced Skills (ENAS), Undergraduate Students in Nurses (USIN), Enrolled Nurse (EN) or Assistant in Nursing (AIN). About Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQ HHS) Children's Health Queensland is a recognised leader in paediatric healthcare, teaching and research, delivering a full range of clinical services and training, tertiary and quaternary care and health promotion programs to children and young people from across Queensland and northern New South Wales. Our interprofessional workforce of more than 5,000 people deliver responsive, integrated and internationally recognised person-centred care through a network of services and facilities, including the Queensland Children's Hospital, Jacaranda Place, Ellen Barron Family Centre, our Child and Youth Community Health Service, our Child and Youth Mental Health Service, and other statewide services and programs including specialist outreach and telehealth services.
