What you will be doing in this role As a Full-Time Registered Nurse in our Special Care Nursery, you will be at the heart of providing exceptional care for newborns requiring specialised attention. Working alongside a supportive, multi-disciplinary team, including neonatal nurses, doctors, and the Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, monitoring, and supporting the health and wellbeing of our tiniest patients. Your responsibilities will include administering treatments, ensuring the safety and comfort of infants, and offering vital support to families during a challenging and emotional time. With a strong focus on holistic care, you will be dedicated to meeting the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of both the infants and their families. In this role, you will be supported with continuous learning and professional development, ensuring you stay at the forefront of neonatal care. You'll be encouraged to further enhance your clinical skills through a variety of training programs, workshops, and hands-on experience. This role offers the opportunity to grow professionally while making a meaningful difference in the lives of newborns and their families Who we’re looking for A compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and full Australian working rights. A genuine interest or experience in neonatal or paediatric nursing, with a passion for caring for newborns. A holistic approach to care, recognising the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of both infants and their families. Strong, empathetic communication skills, with the ability to support and guide families through challenging times. A collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive, learning-focused environment. Critical thinking and clinical expertise, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting. The ability to work a rotating roster including some night shifts.
