Registered Nurse – Oncology / Day Therapy Unit Are you an experienced Oncology Nurse looking for a supportive environment where you can truly make a difference? We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join the Day Therapy Unit , where you’ll deliver exceptional care to patients undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive treatments. About the Role As a Chemotherapy Nurse, you’ll be responsible for: Administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusions for conditions such as Crohn’s disease and multiple sclerosis. Conducting comprehensive assessments and delivering evidence-based nursing care. Providing education and emotional support to patients throughout their treatment journey. Ensuring patient safety and maintaining high clinical standards. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes. Essential Criteria: Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse. Current Working with Children Check. Experience in oncology and haematology nursing. Competency in administering cytotoxic chemotherapy and/or immunotherapy. Proficiency in IV cannulation, phlebotomy, and CVAD management (PICC, PORT). Current ADAC qualification. Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills. Commitment to quality patient care and adherence to national standards. Why Join Us?
