We are seeking to fill multiple Midwife positions for various hospitals around Victoria. There are both full time and part time permanent roles available to suitable candidates with Midwifery or Gynaecology/Obstetrics nursing experience. As a Registered Midwife, your responsibilities will include: Provide high standards of evidence-based midwifery care to women of varying ages and cultural groups Plan, assess, implement and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with women, their families and the multidisciplinary team so as to achieve identified goals and health outcomes Supervise, direct, guide junior nurses and undergraduate midwives in provision of midwifery care Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs Able to work across birth suites, anti-natal and post-natal Criteria: - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Midwifery or Obs/Gynae - Bachelor of nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration - Dual Registration highly desirable - Commitment to ongoing professional development - Awareness of clinical safety and quality improvements - Flexibility to work a rotating roster - MUST HAVE AHPRA TO APPLY How to Apply If the above role sounds like a good opportunity for you, we would love to chat!
