What you will be doing in this role As a Full Time Registered Nurse at Harrison Ward, you’ll play a key role within our 30-bed General Medical/Surgical ward, which specialises in long-term wound care, renal, and general medical care. You’ll work closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, patient-centred care, supporting not only our patients but also their families throughout their hospital journey. You’ll become part of a long-standing, close-knit team that truly values collaboration and quality care. We know starting a new role can be challenging, so you’ll be supported every step of the way with on-the-floor training and a team mentor to help you settle in with confidence. Our Nursing Unit Manager (NUM) is approachable, proactive, and champions open, two-way communication, fostering a welcoming environment where your ideas and concerns are always heard. In this role, you’ll be involved in delivering compassionate, evidence-based care that makes a real difference to people’s lives, all while being supported by a strong operational team committed to your growth and success. Who we’re looking for Someone with current AHPRA registration as an RN and at least two years of post-registration experience. A person who ideally has surgical experience, but if you come from a medical background and have a strong drive to learn and grow, that’s just as welcome. An individual who naturally shows empathy and has a strong sense of emotional intelligence in their care. A great communicator who’s comfortable engaging verbally and in writing with patients, their families, and the team. Someone flexible and happy to work a full time, rotating roster of 8-hour shifts. A candidate with full Australian working rights, ready to join our team.
