What you will be doing in this role We’re looking for passionate and caring Registered Nurses to join our close-knit team in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU). Our 25-bed unit is a dynamic space where we provide specialised care to patients facing a range of critical cardiac conditions, and we have multiple permanent positions available. In this role, you’ll be involved in assessing, monitoring, and supporting patients through acute cardiac events, working alongside a dedicated emergency response team. You’ll have the chance to develop your skills while providing care for a variety of medical and surgical cardiac conditions, gaining invaluable experience in this specialist area of healthcare. While prior critical care experience is beneficial, we’re also excited to welcome nurses who are eager to learn and grow in this rewarding field. Who we’re looking for Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, with at least one year of experience as a New Graduate in a critical care setting. A strong sense of empathy and emotional intelligence, with the ability to connect with patients and their families during challenging times. Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with experience engaging professionally with patients, families, and colleagues. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts within a rotating roster. A commitment to growing skills and knowledge within the Coronary Care Unit, with a passion for continuous learning.
