About the work unit / facility Joyce Palmer Health Service consists of an Emergency Department, 15 bed inpatient unit, renal dialysis services and home care services. Primary health care services are provided by the Palm Island Community Company. Townsville HHS does provide oral health, community mental health, midwifery services (antenatal and post-natal services) and specialist outreach services. Competitive salary and benefits: We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements. * Salary range: $82,753 - $106,144 p.a. (Nurse Grade 5) * 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading * 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation * On-call and shift allowances (where applicable) * Nth division, uniform and RANIP allowances * Great Salary Packaging options * Flexible working arrangements may be available About your opportunity In this role you will deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing care to the people of Palm Island. Responsibilities will include working across both emergency and inpatient services. Requirements: * Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification and registration with AHPRA. * Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster. * Triage Certificate is highly desirable.
