North West Hospital and Health Service (HHS) * Unique locations * Friendly communities * Regional, rural and remote $$$ incentives About the role As a Registered Midwife in our Midwifery Group Practice, you will deliver safe, high-quality, continuity-of-care to women and families throughout the maternity continuum. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, you will provide holistic care that reflects NMBA standards and supports our commitment to culturally responsive, person-centred practice. In this role, you will: * Provide comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of midwifery care across pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postpartum period. * Practise with growing autonomy, utilising clinical judgement, critical thinking, and best-practice frameworks. * Maintain safety and quality through adherence to policies, protocols, and risk-management systems. * Participate in quality improvement, education, clinical audits, and evidence-based practice to support high-performing service delivery. Working with us * for 1 year will get you an isolation bonus of AUD$3,500. If you stay for 2 years you will get AUD$10,500 and for your 3rd year (and every year after that) you will get AUD$7,000. In your downtime, we will provide 2 return airfares p.a. (inc. spouse/dependents) to the nearest east coast provincial city in conjunction with your recreation leave; of which we offer 6 weeks p.a. and up to 27.5% loading/bonus. * Base salary ranges between $82,753 and $106,144 p.a. (Nurse Grade 5). * 12.75% employer superannuation contribution. * Long Service Leave and Sick Leave accrual. * Tax savings through salary sacrificing options are also available.
