Your new role: As a Recreation Officer, you will support patient wellbeing by delivering engaging individual and group activities, working with allied health staff to create safe and meaningful experiences. Responsibilities include: * Designing and implementing recreation activities that promote patient engagement, wellbeing and safety. * Facilitating activity-based programs under the guidance of allied health professionals. About you: You are a creative, patient-focused individual with strong communication skills and a passion for supporting the wellbeing of others. About us: Logan Hospital: Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care. We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland. Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
