About The Role The Quality Assurance Manager supports the Head of Quality Assurance in implementing the institution's governance, risk management, and quality assurance frameworks. This critical role is responsible for monitoring and evaluating quality assurance processes, with a core focus on ensuring strict compliance with all regulatory standards across Vocational Education and Training (VET), Higher Education (HE), HESA, and ESOS/CRICOS. Additionally, the manager assists with key governance and regulatory engagement activities. We are seeking to fill 2 Quality Assurance Manager positions, one with a specialisation in VET education & one within Higher Education. We welcome applications from candidates who possess experience in VET, Higher Education or a specialisation in both. Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance Implement quality assurance and governance processes for both HE and VET sectors. Ensure compliance with HESF and RTO standards, as well as requirements under CRICOS and HESA. Conduct and preparing reports and documentation for reviews and audits as part of the quality assurance cycle. Prepare QA reports and documentation required for internal and external reviews and audits. Develop and review policies in consultation with stakeholders. Prepare TEQSA, ASQA and other government applications, responses to RFIs and reports for submission by the Head of Quality Assurance. Support internal stakeholders with compliance and self-assurance. Coordinate training sessions and workshops on QA standards and best practices. Participate in the decision-making process for appeals, ensuring impartiality and compliance with institutional policies. Governance Prepare reports for senior management and governance bodies. Executive Officer of governance bodies. Take minutes and follow up on action items from governance bodies. Education, Experience & Skills Bachelor's degree in relevant field, post graduate preferred Minimum 5 years' experience in quality assurance within higher education and/or VET sectors. Demonstrated experience in quality assurance and governance in in a Registered Training Organisation or a higher education provider. Working knowledge and understanding of regulatory standards in Vocational Education and Training, Higher Education, ESOS/CRICOS and HESA. Proficiency in Microsoft Office365 Cross cultural awareness Why Join us?
