The key duties of the position include The Role The Enterprise Functional Integration and Technology (EFIT) team within the Enterprise Resourcing Planning (ERP) Support Organisation (ESO) is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance and Test Manager to support the Director of EFIT. You will be leading and coordinating testing activities, and drawing on your deep knowledge of testing principles, IT standards, and policy frameworks, ensure compliance and quality assurance for the business and end users by: Leading the design, development, and implementation of test automation methodologies, frameworks, and solutions; Collaborating with cross-functional teams, contribute to the continuous enhancement of test automation strategies and frameworks; Endorsing Test Summary Report and track recommendations; Ensuring that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with industry best practices and standards. About our Team The ERP Support Organisation is part of the ERP Division, a key enabler of the One Defence reform agenda. ERP will standardise and integrate critical functions needed to run the Department into a single SAP platform resulting in a major capability uplift for Defence. Our Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate will demonstrate: Extensive experience in software testing including automated and manual testing techniques; Strong technical skills in test case design, execution, and defect management using modern tools and frameworks; A deep understanding of quality assurance principles, IT standards, and policy frameworks; Excellent documentation and reporting skills, ensuring clarity and compliance with legal and procedural standards; Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information to understanding of a layperson; Ability to work under pressure and be adaptable to rapid change of priorities; Good stakeholder management skills and an ability to influence and persuade others to work toward a common vision or goal.
