Registered Psychologist - Paediatric Private Practice & EAP Services Location: Newcastle, NSW Job Type: Full-time or Part-time Salary: Up to $135K super supervision flexibility professional development allowance About the Companies Client 1 - Paediatric Private Practice: Our client is a respected multidisciplinary private practice in the Hunter region, delivering evidence-based psychological services for children, adolescents, and families. Client 2 - EAP / Organisational Psychology Provider: Our second client is a leading provider of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and organisational psychology services across Australia. With a network of over 170 psychologists nationally, they support corporate, government, and private clients, helping workplaces and individuals achieve optimal wellbeing. They are recognised for innovation, a strong team culture, and professional growth opportunities. Both clients are seeking passionate and dedicated Registered Psychologists to join their teams in Newcastle. The Roles This is a fantastic opportunity for Registered Psychologists to join dynamic teams offering variety, autonomy, and professional growth. Key responsibilities include: Paediatric Private Practice: * Conducting psychological assessments, formulation, and evidence-based interventions for children, adolescents, and families * Collaborating with schools, families, and other allied health professionals * Managing a flexible caseload with autonomy and administrative support * Contributing to a supportive, team-oriented clinical environment EAP / Organisational Psychology: * Providing EAP counselling to adults, adolescents, couples, and families * Attending workplaces for onsite and critical incident support * Delivering private and Medicare-rebated counselling as required * Supporting clients with adjustment to trauma, injury, and pain-related concerns * Conducting psychological assessments and developing intervention plans * Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and Principal Psychologists What We're Looking For To succeed in either role, you will ideally have: * Full or provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist (Clinical endorsement desirable for paediatric practice) * Experience delivering evidence-based interventions across children, adolescents, or adults * Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills * Full Australian working rights and the ability to obtain a National Police Check * A current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle What's On Offer Both clients offer: * Competitive salary packages up to $135K super, commensurate with experience * Regular supervision and mentoring with Principal or Senior Psychologists * Professional development allowances for advanced training (EMDR, Schema, Gottman, Supervisor Training) * Flexible working arrangements and autonomy over caseloads * Supportive, inclusive, and collaborative team cultures * Access to wellness programs, seminars, and Employee Assistance Programs * Paid parental leave, purchased leave options, and genuine work-life balance * Career growth pathways across clinical and organisational psychology How to Apply For a confidential discussion, please contact Abbie Offless - Healthcare Recruitment Consultant at Zenith Search on 0483 953 814 or email your updated resume to abbie.offless@zenithsearch.com .
