About the Role: We are seeking a Provisional Psychologist to join a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people in the Northwest of Tasmania. Opening date: 21 Nov 2025 12:00am Closing date: 11 Jan 2026 11:55pm Key Responsibilities: Provide clinical leadership within a designated program area, region, or statewide stream Undertake complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs Work alongside innovative team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to deliver high-quality, person-centered, and trauma-informed mental health services Lead and collaborate with a diverse group of clinicians as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing support and consultation as needed Act as a role model and deliver comprehensive, developmentally appropriate, and trauma-informed biopsychosocial mental health assessments and therapies Benefits: $123,717 to $138,296 per annum plus 11.5% super Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum Relocation support: $15,000 for overseas applicants and $10,000 for interstate. Study leave included Fitness Passport About You: Possess a relevant tertiary qualification in social work or a related allied health discipline. Demonstrate extensive experience in the mental health or related sector, with a focus on working with young people and their families/carers. Commitment to ongoing professional development, including the opportunity to participate in leadership training provided by the Tasmanian Health Service in partnership with the University of Tasmania.
